Intellectual Property
According to statistics of Ocean Tomo, in 2015, intellectual property accounted for 84% of enterprise value in S&P 500 enterprises. Intellectual property (specifically, intellectual property objects) such as Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs, Trade Secrets, Copyrights, Plant Varieties…) have become the most important resources of each enterprise. In the condition that natural resources (land, minerals…) are increasingly exhausted, the competitive advantage of cheap human resources is no longer available; The only motivation for Vietnamese enterprises to develop is to create and own intellectual property.
Industry 4.0
Alvin Toffler says the world is going to a place where the economy will no longer be based on land, money or raw materials but on intellectual capital. Futurologists also predict that: “In the twenty-first century, the winners will be those who stand in front of the curve of change, constantly re-examine their industries, create new markets, and explore. new path, reinventing competition rules, challenging the status quo, it will be those who “create the world”, not those who deal with the world”.
